La Petite Chenille = Dainty Delicate Caterpillar
Chenille is the word I heard this morning when I asked what should I blog about today.
La Petite Chenille means Dainty Delicate Caterpillar in French.I am not French. But clearly, I have some French ancestors, ancestress, guides etc that walk with me. I sit listening wondering what does the word mean. I go to Google and find the definition. It means caterpillar. Then the next instant I get a download. A download that is giving directions of growth. How so many of us want to rush through life as if at the end they'll be given a trophy for going through it the fastest. Only to come right back to Earth over and over again because you refused to slow down and receive the lessons you signed up to learn before you were even in your mother's womb.
The caterpillar has to go through many stages before it becomes the beautiful butterfly that everyone adores.
What stage are you in your growth right now? Are you in the dainty delicate caterpillar stage? There are four stages in becoming a butterfly. Today I'm focusing more on the caterpillar stage.
Egg π₯
Larva (caterpillar) π
Pupa (cocooning) π§♀️
Adult Butterfly π¦
The only job the caterpillar has is to eat and grow. Only after the caterpillar has grown and ready to cocoon will it become the butterfly. Just as butterflies go through so much to become a better version of themselves we humans do also. Transformation isn't as easy as people pretend it to be. Although, very possible! While you're in this stage of growth you have to be gentle with yourself in this season. You are learning and growing. Soon you will need to cocoon. Don't try to rush the process. Life isn't about the end (outcome). It's really about the middle. The time you spent getting to the end. How did you spend it? What did you learn? How did you apply the lessons? Were you of service for others? How did you treat perfect strangers that you know you needed nothing from? Did you raise children? Or are you only focused on you?
Now that you are in this stage of growth. This stage feels iffy. You feel unsure of almost everything. Here is when you develop a better relationship with Source/God/Goddess/Allah/The Most High (whomever you call on of the light). The relationship grows because you have to learn to depend on something outside of people. You begin to see that you're missing something. Your soul desires something that most people never truly witness. This anchoring comes from the Most High. Allow yourself to be open to change. Open to new possibilities. Open to life becoming exactly what you've prayed for.
The cocooning is a time of solitude. You can't skip this step. It is necessary to become the π¦ . What does this look like? You are spending much more time with yourself. You are not on social media minding everyone's else's life. You're minding your own. Drinking your water, and refilling your own cup. Getting clear on who you are. What is your life's purpose? Your dharma? Your calling? Your souls purpose? This is when you look at the different aspects of your life. Your foundation: finances, relationships, education, career, love, etc.
At the cocoon stage is when you begin to grasp the understandings. Life begins to make much more sense. You're journaling. Spending time in nature. Listening and learning to speak through your heart space. Aligning your life with your core values.
Then you become the Adult Butterfly π¦ . Glowing, loved, supported, boundaries are intact, life is in a constant flow, even when the lows arise you know exactly how to raise your vibration back into your middle ground.
So wherever, you are in your journey of life (transformation), don't forget to take the time to grow through the stages. Life really isn't a race. We are all meant to be different and on different stages. Just because we look different and you are not able to understand them (that person's journey, their lifestyle, culture etc) that doesn't mean they don't deserve your respect. To respect someone else's differences and culture is to respect your own differences and culture.
And if you are having issues with your life (transformation process) reach out. I would love to assist you with the process of becoming a beautiful butterfly.
