Ye are the Salt of the Earth

 Ye are the Salt of the Earth.... the words echoed over and over again. As I let the words settle in my gut, I repeat them aloud. 

I looked it up online and realized that this is a scripture that Jesus gave, "Sermon on the Mount". [Matthew 5:13-16]

Jesus is speaking to his disciples. 

Apart from all of the religion connotations. You are the Salt of the Earth. This is telling us to remember who we are. Those of us who have a responsibility to be a lighthouse in a sea of darkness. Remember that you are here to assist to be a beacon of light. You are here to be of service. You are here to help others on their journeys. Maintain your purpose! 

Are you allowing life to just pass you by? Are you living life or just being a standby player? When will you get back in the game? There are people who are waiting for your light to shine. Your soul tribe is trying to find you but you are hiding. Can a mountain be hid? You maybe deathly afraid of putting yourself out there. But the purpose is bigger than you. 

This is why you feel disconnected. This is why nothing is working. This is why you give up even before you begin. You are overwhelmed with life. 

In this new season you will begin to focus. You will focus on what's important and what really matters at the heart level. Your mind, body and soul are being restored for a reason. You have more energy now than you've had in the last 20 years. It is time! Have faith and trust that the Most High God, Source, Goddess, Allah, Olodumare, Sat Chit Ananda, (whomever you pray to of the light) will provide all needed. I am not sure who I'm speaking to but the world is awaiting your gifts. Take up space and he universe will make room for your purpose. 

Remember to be kind to yourself. In being kind to self you will always remember to be kind to others.
