Are you Thriving or Barely Making it Through YOUR Daily Journey?
Thriving.... ?
Have you ever woke up one day, looked around and said to yourself... what the fudge nuggets am I doing? How did I get here?
If you haven't... ha.. I have. Let me tell you! I know what it feels like first hand to wake up one morning and ponder on that very thought. Feeling like life was just not what you expected it to be. You second-guess yourself in every way. You run from pillar to post just to make it through your days. You want to be strong for your children somehow. You want to be that Super Mom-- you know the ones they cook, clean, work a 9-5, perfect marriage, perfect life ( I am cracking up at all of these....iykyk…tehehehehe) BUT wait this doesn't exist guys. People are happy because they made their minds up that regardless of what life throws in their direction they will still thrive! Periodt!
Seriously though, you are not thriving, life isn't what you expect it to be, life isn't flowing how you want it to be, your relationship isn't where you want it to be, your money "ain't right", your career isn't what you expected, your everyday life is draining you, all of these things AND MORE are happening because you ARE NOT believing in YOU!
What does not believing in you look like:
- Negative Self-Talk – Saying things like “I’m not good enough” or “I always mess things up.”
- Avoiding Opportunities – Turning down chances to grow, succeed, or be seen due to fear of failure.
- Procrastination – Delaying actions out of fear that you won’t do it “right” or that you'd fail.
- Perfectionism – Refusing to act unless conditions are ideal, stemming from fear of not being good enough.
- Over-Apologizing – Constantly saying “sorry,” even when it's not necessary.
- Comparing to Others – Frequently feeling “less than” when looking at others’ achievements.
- Seeking Excessive Validation – Needing others to approve every choice or reassure them constantly.
- Settling for Less – Accepting poor treatment or mediocre outcomes because you don’t believe they deserve better.
- Impostor Syndrome – Feeling like a fraud, even when you are skilled or accomplished.
- Difficulty Accepting Compliments – Brushing off praise or downplaying achievements.
- Fear of Speaking Up – Avoiding expressing opinions, ideas, or needs.
- Self-Sabotage – Creating chaos or failure when things start going well.
- Lack of Boundaries – Letting others take advantage because you don’t feel worthy of respect.
- Avoiding Eye Contact – Subtle body language that signals insecurity or shame.
- Staying in Comfort Zones – Avoiding challenges or growth opportunities due to self-doubt.
This last one though!!!! Shutting people out who could help you move ahead in your journey because you are afraid!

Light a candle or incense.

Find a picture of your younger self.

Say no.
-
Speak up.
-
Apply for the opportunity.
-
Show up as your full self.
-
๐ 7. Surround Yourself with Support
-
Limit time around people who constantly doubt, drain, or belittle.
-
Affirmation: “I surround myself with people who see my light.”
๐ 8. Celebrate Tiny Wins
-
Each step counts: waking up early, choosing self-care, speaking your truth.
-
Confidence grows in the reflection of your progress.
