Life is a Trip

You know that old saying, “Life’s a trip and then you die”? I’m not sure if that’s exactly how it goes—but let’s roll with it (lol). What I do know for sure is that life has taken me on quite the journey. Joyful moments, unexpected turns, deep valleys, and beautiful surprises. Just… life.

Have you ever sat still and asked yourself, What if I had taken a different path? Maybe chosen a different major in college? Moved to a different city? Said yes instead of no—or no instead of yes? It’s wild to think how one decision could’ve changed everything.

But here’s the thing: even with all the twists and turns, sometimes we end up exactly where we were always meant to be. That, my friend, is what I call divine alignment.

I’ve always been drawn to people. I love to connect, to uplift, to help others grow—inside and out. I’ve known, deep down, that I was meant to help people become the best version of themselves, whether through words, beauty, mindset, or healing. I just didn’t always know how that purpose would unfold.

And if I’m being honest, the journey here? It looked nothing like I imagined. But every moment, every step—even the ones that felt like detours—led me closer to this version of myself.

So let me tell you this: have faith. Believe in yourself, even when it feels like no one else does. Keep dreaming, keep showing up, and keep trusting your intuition. Rock bottom doesn’t mean the end—it can be the foundation for something brand new. You get to choose again. Right now, today.

Maybe you don’t have mentors in your circle who look like where you’re headed—and that’s okay. Start building your circle virtually. Follow people who inspire you. Learn from voices that challenge you. And remember: foundations take time. They aren’t built overnight, and neither are you. Give yourself grace as you grow.

You are already enough—even as you become more.

And if you ever want to talk it out with someone who’ll keep it real and help you map out your next move, I’m here. Let’s build your version of success—together.

With love,

Jess
